In the scope of this work; the berm slope excavation in 825,000 m³ left coast (dry area) by using an explosive, and the base scanning with and without using explosive material in 175,000 m³ water has been realized. In the area where the Bartın river flows into the Black Sea, because of the narrowness of the existing bed section, which is the result of falling rains over seasonal norms, the bed section has been expanded to 40 m in order to prevent floods in Bartın Province.
